Review: 2025 Nissan Armada Full-Size 8-Seat V8 SUV
The Nissan Armada is the company’s flagship full-size, body-on-frame, three-row SUV. The Japanese company is discontinuing production of the Titan full-size pickup after 2024, but according to a report from the Nissan Model website, the 2025 Nissan Armada suggests that it will feature a new model with Nissan apparently showing off the new Armada to its dealers, and we might see the new vehicle soon.
Nissan senior vice president Ivan Espinosa spoke with CarExpert Australia at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. He pointed out that the new Armada is based on Toyota’s J300 Land Cruiser, which is offered in America as the Lexus LX 600. Espinosa said the new SUV is “much better than Land Cruiser”.
The 2025 Nissan Armada will replace its V8 with a turbo V6.
The new fleet, like the Sequoia, will replace its 5.6-liter V8 with a third-generation engine. According to Automotive News, Nissan will replace the Armada’s 400-horsepower engine with a more powerful and efficient twin-turbocharged V6. The engine will be mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission.
The 2025 fleet will be more modern, stylish and technologically advanced.
A Nissan salesman described the new Armada as “Range Rover-like.” The dealer has a vested interest in creating excitement for the new Fleet. However, even if it doesn’t reach the level of one of America’s best-selling SUVs, we might expect significant aesthetic improvements.
Automotive News reports that the new Armada will be larger and more durable, with redesigned headlights and taillights. According to the source, the Armada will have updated interior finishing and a larger screen. We think the Armada inside also gets a more modern and square look. Espinosa told Car Expert that infotainment will be a “huge change.”
2025 Nissan Armada EV
Nissan is switching many of its vehicles to electric and hybrid power. Nissan plans to launch 27 new electric vehicles by 2030, 19 of which will be battery-powered electric vehicles. The launch could feature an innovative new solid-state battery.
The problem is that something has to create revenue to cover development costs in the short term. Nissan should be able to do this with a redesigned Armada and continued availability of the Frontier pickup truck.
2025 Nissan Armada Price
Nissan has not released pricing for the 2025 Armada. The base price of the 2024 model increases by more than $4,000 to $55,450 ($58,450 for the 4x4). The price is still a little over $70,000. We anticipate the 2025 Armada will be priced in that range, giving the new Infiniti QX80 variant a chance to slot above it.
2025 Nissan Armada Release Date
Nissan has not confirmed a reveal date for the Armada. Nissan has revealed information regarding the 2024 model year Armada. As a result, the redesigned Armada will arrive as early as the 2025 model year.
The fleet is scheduled to arrive in late 2023, according to a 2022 Automotive News report. However, it’s very possible the reveal schedule will be pushed back temporarily.
