Review: 2025 Ford Edge Comfortable Luxury SUV

2025 Ford Edge is a line of midsize crossover SUV models starting in 2025 and continues to compete competitively with cars such as the Toyota Venza, Chevrolet Blazer and Mustang Mach-E.
As far as we know so far, and supported by an article by the online media FordTrend, most of the changes in the 2025 Ford Edge are based on the free service time for Connected Built-in Navigation being reduced from three to one year, while Ford Streaming is being reduced from 30 days to one year.
With the 2025 Ford Edge’s spacious and simpler dimensions, this mid-size SUV offers a fairly spacious cabin. The 2025 Edge will certainly provide plenty of cargo capacity and plenty of legroom even in the second row of seats.

2025 Ford Edge Engine
Most Edge versions are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged i-4 engine that produces 250 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which sends output to standard AWD.
In MotorTrend testing, the Edge accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in 7.6 seconds. Fuel economy is rated by the EPA at 21/28 mpg city/highway.

2025 Ford Edge ST Models
The Edge doesn’t have much personality, but the ST model changes that, or at least attempts to. The engine is a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6, which produces 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. This brings 0–60 mph acceleration down to 6.1 seconds, but fuel economy doesn’t drop much, namely 19/25 mpg.
A sport-tuned suspension, available Brembo brakes, and optional summer tires add to the Edge ST’s capabilities, but there are more fun-to-drive SUVs out there.
Security Features
In NHTSA crash testing, the 2024 Edge earned five stars overall, which is the highest possible score.
Every Edge is equipped with driver assistance and active safety features as part of Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite.
Among them are automatic high beams, front automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and lane keep assist. Adaptive cruise control is optional or included depending on trim.
2025 Ford Edge Trim Levels
With lineup prices starting under $40,000, the 2024 Ford Edge is available in five trims: SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST. If you want to get an Edge, it’s best to go all out and get the ST model.
It is the most powerful and best vehicle, with enhanced comfort and handling through an upgraded suspension system. Big wheels and dark styling cues give the Edge ST even more style.
At about $47,500, the Edge ST is the most expensive version in the lineup, but it’s honestly the only interesting version of the Edge — if you don’t like this sporty-looking SUV, you have plenty of other options.
2025 Ford Edge Interior Technology
Every Edge is equipped with an impressive 12.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, which has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity; Built-in navigation is optional.
Two USB ports are standard, as are dual 4.2-inch LCD displays in the gauge cluster. Higher-end models get a wireless charging pad. On top of the standard six-speaker audio system, there’s a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium setup.
